Morisset Spinners and Weavers is a group of about 50 people from all walks of life who meet weekly to share our interest in textile related activities. We learn from each other, hold regular workshops to increase our knowledge, and generally have a good time.
Most of us spin and or weave, but we also do felting, knitting, crochet, basketry, tapestry and dyeing.
We run regular workshops of interest to our members, and are always willing to teach new members our varied crafts. It doesn't matter if you are young or old, male or female, or are caring for your preschoolers you will be made welcome.

Membership is $35 a year, and each week we attend we pay $5 to cover hall hire and morning tea, and a small donation to our building fund.  

Coming up

September:  Our container has arrived and been fitted out to house all our equipment and needs.  We are all very excited.

September 24th:  Weaving Study group from 12.30pm.



October 12th/13th: Lake Mac Garden Trail, where some of our members of Entwined,(Lyn, Lorraine, Carol, Ken & Gill) are showcasing.

October 15th:  Spinning workshop group. 

October 22nd: Stashbuster Day.

October:  Saturday 26th & Sunday 27th. 

October 29th:  Weaving Study group from 12.30pm.

 October:  Saturday 26th & Sunday 27th. 

The Knitters Guild of NSW is having their annual FIBREFEST 2019 to be held in 
The Sisters of Mercy Convent, 30 Queen St, Singleton.  
Saturday 26th, consists of Workshops, local sightseeing opportunities and knitting in public.
Sunday 27th, is for Retail opportunities, demonstrations, workshops, food & music.
This is a great event for all.  Try not to miss it.

October 31st:  Workshop with Karen Murray.  This will be on Needle Felting small Christmas people and decorations.


Lake Mac Open Studio Art Trail.

November 2nd & 3rd:  9am-4pm.

Lyn, Lorraine, Carol, Ken & Gill, will be participating in the Lake Mac Arts Trail and will have an Open Studio at Lyn's 35 Stingaree Point Drive, Dora Creek.  

All are very welcome to come along.

Karen Murray will be located at "The Makers Place" Shop 1/ 8 Anzac Pde Teralba.
